I saw this on a friend’s post on Facebook. I found it intriguing and oh so true. I work at a private special education school and the vast majority of the parents there are having trouble putting food on the table, and often the food they can afford to put on the table isn’t the best for their family’s health. Most know this. But when it comes down to choosing ‘not the healthiest’ food that will feed the family all week, and fresh fruits and vegetables that would give them each a healthy snack, what’s a parent to do?
This article says it much better.
